EuroChem to launch $1 bln ammonia plant in Leningrad Region in June
ST. PETERSBURG, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer EuroChem plans to launch a U.S. $1.2 billion ammonia plant in the city of Kingisepp in the Leningrad Region in June, the region’s government said in a statement on Friday.
The plant’s production capacity will amount to about 2,700 tonnes per day or 1 million tonnes of commercial ammonia per year, making it the largest ammonia plant in Russia, the statement read.
